Tesla has officially opened the sign-up process for its 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, setting the stage for another one of the most anticipated events on the company calendar. This year’s meeting will once again be held at Giga Texas in Austin. It will offer a chance for investors to engage with Tesla’s leadership and vote on its future'.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 1 pm Pacific. For those unable to attend, the entire meeting will be livestreamed, with a special meeting invitation available for verified shareholders that includes the ability to vote.

How to Participate
Tesla has outlined three distinct ways for shareholders and the public to take part in the event.
Due to limited space at Giga Texas, in-person attendance will be determined by a random drawing. The deadline for shareholders to enter the drawing is on Friday, October 10, by midnight. After the window closes, the random selection will be held, and those chosen will be notified during the week of October 13th.
As usual, the selections are non-transferable and will require a valid government-issued ID for entry. You can sign up for the drawing at Tesla’s Investor Relations site.
Virtual Attendance & Voting
For investors who wish to participate more directly than the livestream allows, Tesla is providing a virtual meeting option. This option is available to anyone who was a shareholder as of September 15th, 2025, which is the date of record for this meeting. The virtual meeting features the same livestream but adds the ability to submit votes and provide written comments on agenda items.
Shareholders will need a unique code provided by their brokerage or transfer agent for this particular feature.
Shareholder Verification
You will need to verify your shares with Tesla to enter. You can either do automatic, linked verification with Plaid, Tesla’s partner for shareholder validation, or provide a dated copy of your shares on the date of record to Tesla IR for them to manually verify, which can take up to two weeks. Once verified, you can enter into the drawing, as well as request a virtual voting code.
On the Ballot
The main draw for many will be the presentation and Q&A session with Elon Musk and other Tesla executives. This segment provides the most direct insight into Tesla’s product roadmap and strategic priorities. We always provide a detailed, bullet-point list of the highlights of every event, including every question and answer during the Q&A session.
High on the list of expected topics is the progress of Tesla’s autonomous vehicle program, including Robotaxi, FSD Supervised, and FSD Unsupervised. Also on the agenda will likely be updates on Cybercab, Robovan, the timelines for a more affordable next-generation platform, and the continued rollout of FSD globally.
A live demonstration of Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, has been a staple of recent Tesla events, and this one is almost certainly going to be the same, especially as the header image for this year’s event features Optimus. We’re expecting to finally see the latest iteration of Optimus in its production V3 variant with its updated hands taking the stage at Giga Texas.
Musk is already hyping this event, saying that “this will be special.” It appears to be related to Optimus, but it really could be almost anything, including the new Roadster.
We’ll likely see updates on Tesla’s other programs, including Energy, Semi, Solar, and anything else they’ve got cooking behind the curtains at the Design Studio.
