With this update, Tesla appears to be preparing several things that will be released in a feature update of the app, according to Tesla_App_iOS. Some of the upcoming changes include a demo mode for Tesla vehicles. Tesla already lets you sign into the Tesla app as a guest, letting you do several things, including ordering a Tesla and they recently added support to view a demo version of Tesla Solar, letting you view charts for solar, Powerwall, and more. It appears that this upcoming feature will be similar, giving you an interactive demo of what it's like controlling a Tesla with the app.

Other changes in this app release include additional changes to support the upcoming Actually Smart Summon feature, as well as starting support for Tesla's upcoming Model 3 Ludicrous.

Minor fixes and improvements.

In the Charging section of the app (Tap Menu then Charging), Tesla has added a new 'Vehicle Details' section that lets you give describe your other EV by providing the make and model.

This will presumably let Tesla make certain suggestions or perform certain functions when charging. However, it does not appear to be in use yet.

Tesla remotely enabled this feature after v4.30.5 of the app was released.
