Update 2024.3.25 - Release Notes

FSD (Supervised) v12 upgrades the city-streets driving stack to a single end-to-end neural network trained on millions of video clips, replacing over 300k lines of explicit C++ code.

Under your supervision, Full Self-Driving (Supervised) can drive your Tesla almost anywhere. It will make lane changes, select forks to follow your navigation route, navigate around other vehicles and objects, and make left and right turns. You and anyone you authorize must use additional caution and remain attentive. It does not make your vehicle autonomous. Do not become complacent.

Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is enabled on your vehicle. To use the feature, pull the drive stalk down once. You can disable Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in Autopilot Settings.

Tesla Vision Park Assist now displays a high fidelity 3D representation of the world around your vehicle, including the proximity and shape of nearby objects, barriers, vehicles, and painted road markings.

You can use Park Assist with or without audible feedback. To turn chimes on or off, go to Controls > Safety > Park Assist Chimes.

Note that Park Assist is for guidance purposes only and is not a substitute for an alert driver. Remain attentive and avoid obstacles as required.

Editorial note: This feature has now been added to vehicles with ultrasonic sensors (USS) and AMD processors (MCU 3). Under Controls > Autopilot, you now have a new option to continue using measurements with USS, or use the new high-fidelity park assist without measurements displayed.

Vehicles with Intel processors (MCU 2), are not receiving this feature at this time.

Although Intel-based vehicles are not receiving the high fidelity park assist upgrade, they do receive some new visualizations that represent the surround world. It will could more of a 2D visualization of surrounding objects such as barriers, vehicles and painted road markings.

Vehicles with Intel processors will continue to use the ultrasonic sensors to display distances to objects.

The visualization for road edges has been improved to be smoother and more crisp. The road edges are now also wider, to presumably provide a more accurate margin of error of when the road ends and the curb begins.

When you're driving at low speed, your display highlights potential parking spaces. Autopark shows a circular P symbol to suggest a space, but you can choose any highlighted space.

To start parking, stop the vehicle, press Start, and release the steering wheel so it can move freely. Refer to the Owner's Manual for more detail.

As with all Autopilot features, you must continue to pay attention and be ready to take immediate action including canceling Autopark.
