Tidal is a popular music streaming service that's available in many countries around the world. Tidal is known for its high fidelity, offering bitrates of 320 kb/s.

Elon Musk first announced that support for Tidal was coming to Teslas at the 'Battery Day' event that took place in September of last year. Since then, references to the Tidal music service have been spotted in Tesla software by hacker GreenTheOnly. We now believe that Tesla will make the service available on Teslas in the very near future. We may see it as early as the 2021.36 update.

Tesla has been expanding the amount of music services it supports over the last few years. They've added support for Spotify, 'Caraoke' in addition to Slacker. Tesla appears to be working on adding additional streaming services as well. We may see more music services such as Apple Music, SiriusXM streaming and more in future updates.

Tidal is available in the US for $10/month and offers a one month free trial for anyone that would like to try it out.
