For those of us in the US, if we want to stream music on our Teslas, we have to either use Slacker (the default music service on Teslas), use TuneIn, or stream directly from our phones.
Spotify is unfortunately not an option to those in the US, although it is available in Europe.
There have been many requests for Tesla to add Spotify, but we haven't heard anything from Tesla.
That is, until today. Today, Elon Musk responded to someone on Twitter that Tesla will be added Spotify Premium support in a future update.
Update:Tesla has added Spotify support in version 10, which was released on September 27th, 2019.
