It looks like 2023.44.30.25 was on a real tear over the weekend but the push has slowed down somewhat today. Maybe they are pushing v12.3 into the 2024.x branch or something. 🤞 NOTE: I'm currently running 2024.2.7 so I'm not sure how a "downgrade" to 2023.44.30.25 would even work.

I wonder if this will also "fix" the Falcon Wing Doors doors on the refreshed MX cars. As I understand it the refreshed cars don't have all the sensors that the legacy MX vehicles do and the FWD have to rely on camera information to avoid obstacles. This is one reason that I like my 2020 MX...

Well, it looks like 2023.44.30.25 is really on a roll-out. It's already up to 1% of the fleet, according to the statistics page. 🎉

I'm very happy to see the turn signals get clarified. I sometimes have a hard time determining which turn signal is on at a glance, especially if the display is dark.

Ooooo... I like that "One-Time Charge" option; it's a simple feature that would really come in handy. And come on USA lighting regulations - step into the 20th century!

You know, after all this time I'm super afraid that I will be disappointed. I mean, I've built it up in my head to be pretty good and I'm not sure v12 can live up to my vision. Also, I'm kinda scared that it will require v4 hardware and my 2020 MX will not be sufficient. 😱

I'm not really expecting it to be perfect (I don't think that will ever happen) but I do want to get my hands on it to give it a try. All the videos I'm seeing of v12 are AMAZING and even with it's flaws it's miles ahead of v11.

Oh, and it looks like Rivian screwed this up on the R2/R3. The connector is on the rear passenger. Arrrggghhh!!! 😡

Actually, I was just reading something that said the wiring and capabilities for a front bumper camera and ambient lights is built into every MX made after June 2021. So, even a not quite so new MX should be able to be retrofitted with those things ... as long as you can pay for it. 🤑

Well, it looks like I'll be pausing my non-existent purchase of a new MX. One more reason to keep my money in my bank account instead of in Tesla's pocket. :D In a couple of years though, after I get my 2020 MX paid off, I'll be bellying up to the bar to get me some new MX goodness!

I charge my MX to 80% while at home but I've noticed that it has 77% state of charge when I wake up in the morning. I'm not sure what is draining it or why the charger doesn't kick in and top it off. Maybe this change will help?
