In general acceleration, even in soft mode, should be a lot softer. You're stuck in a half-an-hour queue almost to a full halt, the last thing you want to have is a car aggressively pushing you for a split second right before braking, all within 10-20 km/h differences.

Well that gets more into the "Advanced" autopilot option. But autopark is really standard on most cars nowadays.
