Discuss: Tesla FSD v12.6.3 / FSD v13.2.7 (Update 2024.45.32.15) Release Notes

Not much of a jump in numbers, so I’m guessing it squashed whichever bug they were chasing.

Discuss: Tesla Confirms Update Issue for FSD V13.2.2; Fix Coming

I wonder which issue they're addressing. One minor annoyance that popped up recently- turn signals coming on too early. Doesn't happen all the time, maybe 50/50? I also have some regression with starting from stop signs where there is a hesitation for no reason which is asking to get rear-ended...

Discuss: Tesla Increases Price of Model S and Model X; Adds Incentives

That's a weird one, low demand / high end vehicles that are due for a refresh. The perks are nice. Maybe they're doing the thing where making something more expensive makes it more desirable? Good luck with that :)

Discuss: Want to See the New Tesla Model Y? Here's Where It’s on Display

This YT video with two Tesla engineers responsible for the new Y has some GREAT info on details including - range improvement, new door latch design, ‘skull caps’ on the side view mirrors, etc. 30 minutes but packed with info.

    FSD 13.3 or 13.4

Looks like 13.2.6 went out to quite a few cars and now has slowed down to a stop. Maybe that means a decent jump is in the works ‘soon’ ? 13.2.2 was very good today going around a car being towed on a narrow curvy mountain road with a double yellow. It seemed to understand that we were being...

Discuss: What’s Coming Next in Tesla FSD V14

That sounds... complicated. I will pretend that I understand all of the article and hope that we continue to see the kind of leaps forward vs the dribble of improvements we had leading up to v12.

Discuss: Tesla Introduces FSD Discount for Tesla Insurance

Every little bit helps of course. I may have to look into this next time our insurance is up as I’m in AZ. My Y is a year old at the end of this month and I’ll have < 9k miles on it prolly. Maybe that will help too? The better FSD gets the more I will use it.

Discuss: Future Tesla Vehicles to Feature Bi-Directional Charging, 48V & 800V Architectures, Steer-by-Wire, and More

I thought 800v was more expensive for some reason, there *must* be a downside to it right? That ether loop information was new to me, that sounds very useful. It would be nice to have the car say - your front left turn indicator is out, when that happens. Little stuff like that. I am guessing 4...

Discuss: Tesla FSD v12.6.3 / FSD v13.2.6 (Update 2024.45.32.10) Release Notes

Okay YouTubers, let's see some videos! Man, the internet has really brought out my impatience. Time for a hard look in the mirror...

Discuss: Tesla's Earnings Call Recap - HW3 Upgrade, Unsupervised FSD, FSD V14 and More

I can not see any way Tesla could NOT upgrade your X. Thing is, FSD will have to be proven unsupervised on AI4 (or whatever it gets to that point) before Tesla will update your car. Right? I mean, why go through the work of getting the X to AI4 if it's possible AI4 isn't bulletproof...

Discuss: Tesla Software Update 2025.2 - Hands-Free Trunk Support for Android, Rear Cross-Traffic Chime

The FSD builds are lagging behind this build. We're still on 2024 builds and this is a 2025.

Discuss: Teslas Now Drive Themselves From Factory to Delivery Lot [VIDEO]

This is a no brainer, and seriously- think about the hours it is saving for some goober like me to drive the cars to spots. One thing I didn't understand was part of the drive is through a metal tunnel with a bunch of lights. What's that doing? If it's looking for body / paint issues then why is...

Discuss: Tesla's Earnings Call Recap - HW3 Upgrade, Unsupervised FSD, FSD V14 and More

I bet there was a calculation they did where they weighed the amount of resources (money & time) it takes to keep HW3 going vs just replacing the HW3 in cars that have FSD. The real question in my mind is - when will this happen for HW3 vehicles? This is great news but don't hold your breath...

Discuss: Tesla's Earnings Call Recap - HW3 Upgrade, Unsupervised FSD, FSD V14 and More

Thanks for the recap. I’m happy to get this info in this form from a site that understands Tesla! I’m really excited to see what FSD looks like at the end of this year vs the beginning. I feel like we can clearly see it now vs a couple years ago.

Why release it wide if there are major issues?

Discuss: Tesla Enables 325kW Charging at V4 Superchargers Through OTA Update

Just watched a YT video where a CT owner ran his truck down to 0 and hit a v4 charger. Never made 325 and it petered out pretty quickly. He did get over 300 for a short time but apparently he's had better charging experience at EA chargers. Which is strange, I would have thought the curve was...

Thanks for that recap, that and the map really makes the point that this tunnel is useful.

Discuss: New Device adds Vehicle-to-Load Capabilities to Tesla Vehicles

Pretty cool tech. I hope Tesla doesn't do a FW update that kills this device, unless it is truly unsafe or something. Can't see that kind of draw being bad for the battery. Since the power draw is kinda limited I could see this being used to charge a powerwall or other home battery during an...

    The next model S & X

I forgot - steer by wire & 48v (instead of 12v) of course.

The new Model Y is released in the US! Deliveries starting in March!

It’s the launch edition with all kinds of little add ons that say ‘launch’, puddle lights with the logo, badges etc. The premium ALSO gets you - FSD and the accel boost which is a $10k value. Also any color / wheel combo at no extra cost. So worth it if you’re into stuff like that.
