Discuss: Tesla Software Update 2025.2 -- The Lesser Known Features (Undocumented Changes)

This may help - When you have picked a destination drag down the directions to show as many as possible (vs the next 2 or three). The map will zoom out and for me at least it shows alternate routes. If you leave it like that and go full screen on the visualizations you’ll have the entire route...

Discuss: The Best 3D Printed Tesla Accessories

I quickly looked through the list, thanks for the compilation! One thing that is fairly ubiquitous at this point - the J1772 adapter locking ring. There’s prolly a better name for it but this thing makes it so someone can’t just hit the lever and take the charger from your adapter. I had someone...

So you were right. You are right. You continue to be right.

Discuss: New 'Wile E. Coyote' Wall Video Puts Tesla's FSD V13 to the Test

I'm impressed the CT saw the way TBH. You can see there's a line across the road where the wall is on the visualizations. Still, it's best to stay on the good side of your neighborhood coyotes and roadrunners.

Discuss: Breaking Down Tesla’s Autopilot vs. Wall “Wile E. Coyote” Video

Right? There are times when NO ONE or no thing should be driving. I suppose an ambulance or other emergency vehicles might wanna move in all conditions. Same goes for snow / ice in the mountains.

Discuss: Breaking Down Tesla’s Autopilot vs. Wall “Wile E. Coyote” Video

I have to admit- I wondered what FSD would do in that exact scenario back when they called it Telsa Vision. Personally I am not too worried about it as I'm on good terms with all the coyotes in my area. For anyone that is curious the YouTuber Futuraza (Brian) addressed this and dug up an article...

Discuss: Tesla's Project E41: New Model Y With 20% Cost Reduction Coming in 2026

I don’t see anything on the roof? Would there be a cost savings with a metal roof vs the glass? Maybe it would cost more since the production lines aren’t set up for that? 20% is a BIG chunk to ‘reduce’ so good luck!

Discuss: Tesla Starts Rolling Out HW3 Support for FSD to Chinese Employees

I can’t comprehend the complexity of getting FSD where it is now, nevermind getting it to work in multiple countries. Amazing what smart people can do when they work together!

    Interesting bump to 2025.2.9

Interesting test. We drove from Prescott to Sky Harbor (on the plane now and waiting to leave). It did fine with all the weather & construction. Can’t say I saw any diff with FSD but being that the FSD version didn’t change I wouldn’t expect much. At least you got your issues sorted with a reset!

    Interesting bump to 2025.2.9

Both of our cars are on FSD 13.2.8 and just got bumped to 2025.2.9 from .8 in the last hour. This is the detail - v12 (2025.2.9 77b47c331ed2) FSD still shows v13.2.8

Discuss: Tesla Cybertruck Range Extender: Battery Size, Range, Price and Specs

I can't see how this is worth the time / effort and energy to produce but I guess we'll see.

Discuss: Exclusive: Tesla Cybertruck’s Next FSD Update Will Add Start FSD From Park and Improved Controller

Good deal, it is a nice feature on my Y. I feel like the car knows its footprint better than it appears by the behavior. That is- it could prolly park in one try without re-orienting as it backs into a spot. Right now I feel the computer is super cautious, maybe to let US get used to it before...

Discuss: Tesla Suspends Model S and Model X Orders in Japan – Refresh Coming Soon?

I hadn't thought about steer by wire making LHD easier, and I'm embarrassed I hadn't! 48v might be asking a bit much at this point but why not (if it isn't adding expense or complexity). Even though I can't afford a new S anytime soon what I'm hoping to see is - denser battery pack at 800v if...

Discuss: How Tesla Uses Simulated Data to Improve FSD

Interesting stuff indeed. From my experience (here in the USA) I think my Y knows its footprint and place in the world better than the car lets on. That is, when parking it'll adjust pull forward and line up better when it doesn't need to to avoid curbs or other vehicles. So right now it is...

Discuss: Tesla FSD Vehicles To Receive Latest Features With Update 2025.2.8

Don't know if this will help but after my GF's new 3 got this build her car started walk away locking at home and also DIDN'T lock when parked at the gym. I deleted and re-entered our home addy and did a reboot. I saw in a TMC forum someone had a similar issue a few years ago so I went and made...

Discuss: Tesla’s New Deceleration Option: Regen Now Applies When Brake Pedal is Pressed

Interesting stuff, particularly that the regen is a 'wash' when using reduced because it happens when the driver hits the pedal as well.

Discuss: Tesla FSD Vehicles To Receive Latest Features With Update 2025.2.8

Hmm. This seems like a good thing, but confusing. I'm glad there is a FSD version on the 'latest' branch of the car's software. Or firmware. Or both. But HW 3 cars are NOT getting the latest FSD version? I'm hoping this straightens out soon like an arrow leaving a bow string. Or my understanding...

Discuss: Tesla FSD v12.6.4 / FSD v13.2.8 (Update 2024.45.32.20) Release Notes

Well, no improvement with 13.2.8 from .7 when it comes to the small issues I've seen. Signals a block early for turns in town on occasion, etc. Still, feels very competent otherwise. I've seen people reporting better luck with the HW3 builds after recalibrating cameras. That might be worth a try...

Discuss: Tesla Launches FSD in China: First Look [Video]

I remember a YouTuber saying the driving in China was very different- more aggressive maybe. Well, FSD seems to fit! Doing so smoothly too. Any idea on what they're saying in the video? I suppose they could be talking about anything really.
