I have a Model 3 2024 DM LR that’s stuck on 2026.8.6, here over a month after 2026.14 was released. A few days ago, I started wondering why I hadn’t received the update, so I went into servicemode to see if it reported any errors, but there aren’t any immediate DTCs. However, it shows software bank A as Offline for both infotainment and AP, hmm
Based on what I’ve read in previous posts online, it uses one bank to download the update while the old software is still active in the other.
Don’t think I’ve seen them this way before when I’ve checked in service mode, but of course it could be something new, and they might both only be online when an update is in progress. Since I don’t check service mode that often, I’m not sure
I’ve been in touch with someone else who has the same model and year as my car, and whose car is also stuck on 2026.8.6, it also shows as offline in Bank A.
Does anyone know if it’s normal for one software bank to be shown as offline ?
Even if you don't know anything about it, but If you own a Tesla, as most people on this forum probably do
it doesn't necessarily have to be a Model 3, I'd appreciate it if you could check the service mode and let me know if it shows on bank as offline, I'd like to know if there's a problem with the two examples I have right now, or if this is how it's supposed to be when the car isn't actively running an update
I tried contacting Tesla, but all I got was a copy-and-paste response saying that the car was already running the latest available update for my vehicle configuration.
Thanks in advance for any replies
