Understanding the Blue Snowflake Icon in Your Tesla

The snowflake icon in Teslas indicaties a cold battery affecting range and power. Discover how it impacts battery usage and how to prevent it from appearing.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the "legacy" cars have the blue snowflake; at least not in the car itself. The battery temp indicator in my car is a circular gauge that shows power output as well as regeneration. When the battery is cold the bottom (regeneration) part of the gauge is a dotted line instead of a solid line.
