I must be the only owner who has never used the "fun" features. In 5 years, I've glanced at the Toybox but haven't used any of it.

Then yr missing out-the customized lock sounds, whole newly enhanced Santa mode, tron mode rocks as do All the virtual wraps, license plates, and soon Halloween mode. Rivian has had this for years -people actually ask for this when buying the car. The fireplace alone is a cool feature-miss a little miss a lot.

Every month we get yet another bug fix-A LOT of people appreciate the extra effort the tech guys make towards the fun stuff for FREE.

Halloween mode rocks-name any other car on the planet in the entire history of cars who has this. You haven’t even seen what we’re getting so how can u even say yr not interested ?

wondering if the scary car alarm might make a cameo but I hope not nor do I wish for the RETURN OF PHANTOM BRAKING. EYE could be DEAD wrong but BOO knows for sure.

This feature might actually attract single MUMMIES & DEADS into buying a Tesla from Ghost to GHOST. I'm BEHEADING OFF to starbucks for some werewolf juice.

My unpopular hot take: Tesla used to seem and feel like a luxury brand. Now it feels like a toy. My wife just bought a CPO Mercedes EGE 350. She doesn't care about FSD. It feels luxurious and has enough driver assist features to satisfy her. There is no comparison between her car and mine in the luxury department though I have FSD. Trade-offs I guess. So for me, the fun stuff can stay hidden in the toybox. I'd rather have some of the physical luxury that she has.

The comfort exceeds that of a Tesla. Many of the bells and whistles are better and more usable in real-world driving; not just having fun with modes.

To be fair, if you were buying it new, you'd also be paying a healthy premium for that added luxury. And even when buying certified pre‑owned, you are still probably between $5 k and $15 k more expensive than a used Tesla with similar mileage. I get that Tesla doesn't make super luxurious cars, but I can't say that it is any worse than most other premium brands at the same price. For me, this is probably the nicest car I've ever owned, but then again, I've never owned a German car. And now that FSD is as good as it is and fuel prices are high, I can't say I'd pick anything else over another Tesla or similar EV, as long as it has that level of autonomous capability.

I have to admit, even with 14.1 Lite I’ve got progressively anxious about the influx of main character drivers that blatantly break multiple laws with every drive of their Dodge Chargers with limo tint that I have become less enamored with autonomous driving. Idiots scare me. I’m years away from another car purchase. I’m hopeful of what the future holds with all EV makers.

My favorite car I’ve ever owned was an Infiniti G35x. Loved it. I wouldn’t love pumping gas into it right now though. For that time, 10 years ago, it felt luxurious.

Anyways the topic is Halloween mode: rivian has enhanced their version every year, as a Tesla owner I was jealous. It’s a nice departure from bug fixes and Fsd updates.

The younger generation loves the toys. Anything new is sought after then the novelty effect wears off. As a first time buyer of Tesla and for young kids-Halloween is fun and that’s what they added a new toy.

I hope they add a lightshow, creepy intro splash screen greeting and ghoulis UI parked and in drive mode.

Ok. I'd prefer the bug fixes and FSD updates.
