i agree. and i don’t think you are being pessimistic. Tesla is being this way (IMO) because as of now they are not responsible for any accidents that happen on FSD, but UFSD is not ready, and people are getting antsy, so they are relaxing the rules for a system that is imperfect to please people...

i wholeheartedly agree, and unfortunately, it is true. there are people that will always do the wrong thing. i’m not sure what was wrong with the old strike system? this is self-driving technology; the rules need to be firm.

um, so not this. what if the driver becomes incapacitated? right now, the car cannot distinguish inattentiveness from being incapable of steering, so simply disengaging could cause major accidents.
