Overall, these are some of the worst automatic wipers on the market
Or - What's more frustrating is if they had a stalk control, we wouldn't be complaining, probably. I don't recall my current/previous Mercedes/BMW/Audi being 100% accurate (not this inaccurate though), what I do recall is that with a simple gesture - most important without having to look at anything, eyes on the road for f**k sake - I could fix the dangerous situation.
That's food for though, dear Tesla: if you aren't 100% sure about your product don't try to "disrupt" for the sake of it, by removing things which had a reason to be there, probably just because you did not understand the product enough - yet.
Now, the easiest I have is pressing the steering wheel button, which I need to remember it's been recently connected to the volume dial (****), which has exactly the same shape as the speed control dial, but - hey - I always have the alternative to distract myself even further and search for the transient mode selector on the central touchscreen.
And I fly airplanes. For all ADHDers out there, looks like these aren't cars for you... so much for "accessibility", "UX design", etc.
