i’m not gonna lie i don’t see the purpose behind this. what about it specifically haven’t you mastered? you would rather regulate the speed with the brake? or you haven’t figured out regen in reverse?

I would like for my legacy MX to apply the brakes to compensate for regenerative braking. For example, if you're battery is too full to accept any regenerative charge, or when the battery is too cold or hot to accept a charge. My 2020 MY had this ability, but my 2020 MX does not. Why!?!?
that is really suprising to me. why would it not have this feature? that is such a random feature that they don’t include.
Has to do with the curb as I back out of the driveway. I want to coast back with foot on the brake. I can't get that smooth with one-pedal. I don't care if my brake-by-wire is regen, I want the car coasting back without my foot on the accelerator.

- speed limits should be recognized earlier. The law requires that speed AT THE SIGN.
- ( at least Germany) if there is a warning sign ( road construction, sharp curve etc.) with a speed limit beyond- that limit is only valid throughout that matter
- bicycles on the pavement have their own 'road' and need not to be obeyed - i.e. slow down
- same for pedestrians. It often brakes bc. that person is near the curb walking
- traffic isles, that separate the lanes should be recognized and shown. Sometimes I'm afraid it will run in it

Thanks..I gave it a try and it worked! Funny thing is over a year ago I tried this and it didn't work. Guess it was an undocumented feature in a previous update.
Safe to say thing is one that actually got done some time ago but only on HW4 vehicles.
i’m visiting family out of town and the fog is quite severe here. i’ve already seen multiple traffic collisions, and i even came across an accident recently where i stopped to offer some assistance. i know tesla said they were going to implement special hazard lights for accidents (not sure if they have though). but i would love a way to activate that manually instead of it only triggering during an actual accident. i feel like this would have made me more comfortable with pulling over.
Could we get Sentry in optional stealth mode so that a car lights doesn't show the recording, an owner is accused of violating GDPR regulations because a pedestrian reported the use of surveillance, thus violating GDPR regulations.
lol cameras all over the city( buildings, traffic cams, speed cams, red light cameras, door bell cams, body cams on police, all the phone cams, various third party dash cams, business cams, hidden security cams, etc but yr worried about sentry mode violations LOL OK.
Sorry to say it, but you don't know much about the legislation surrounding GDPR.
so the 1000's of people that have dash cams-they are safe but ONLY TESLAS, no other evs with cameras JUST TESLA are forced to comply.........Glad I dont live there..........as far as the rest of the PLANET, WE DONT HAVE THOSE RIDICULOUS LAWS.

Discussion: So earlier this week in my 22 MSLR I was almost rear ended getting on the fairway by someone traveling what seemed to be over 65 miles per hour. Luckily I saw him closing in on me and had enough awareness to floor the accelerator going from 55-74 mph in just over a second. The telemetry on the rear cam video indicates my instant acceleration and press of the accelerator.
I don't think Tesla has a rear collision warning feature and surely no auto avoidance measures but I'm pretty sure the inputs to do so are there.

I agree, it should be a default safety feature. I do believe that FSD does actually act if something like this occurred, but you shouldn't need to pay $100 a month for a safety feature like this.
a flashing high mounted light (for robotaxi) or even flashing brake light for rear proximity collisions. A loud horn along with the flashing light would only be a detterent.
I think your idea-where the display pops on to the rear camera and the car accelerates (when safe to do so). The display would need to be followed by a alert sound (internally)-rear brake lights pulse flash to alert the other driver, then your car zooms forward to avoid being hit. These types of rear end collisions are becoming frequent, it would be nice if Tesla would become proactive, staying ahead of everyone else-you know-safety first, # 1 priority.
But, nice job being a alert defensive driver.......doubt if any gas car could have avoided that. Appreciate the video.
