But as I understand you're in Germany, can you adjust the speed with the touchscreen? All I get since 2024 is toggling the audible speed warning. Before I could set the max speed instantly. Since 2024 it's very annoying (thankfully Commander has a max speed button, which I have displayed on the Knob).
Yellow I can - if I hit the speed sign perfect in the middle.
Also: if you touch the battery sign, you switch between distance and percentage. Wenn this has a smallsensitive area, no big deal, the speed adjustment should be more easy accessed

Must be different software build per country. I cannot even if I try with nanometric precision. All I get is the audible alert toggle. Battery has always been like this.

Yes, I can adjust the ACC - if I hit the sign exactly in the middle

Animation of directional lights
Not a big fan of them, however carne up in s conversation and surprisingly I have no evidence of any related discussion.
Would be great having them optional and also reversed to other carmakers, which do them counter-intuitively wrong.

My 2025 wish list

Tesla has been chipping away at my wishlist of features on their way to making my car perfect.

Apple Watch App
UWB Phone Key access
Custom Tilt Reverse Mirror
Side View Window Repositioning
Speed camera alerts
Adaptive headlights
Blind Spot Camera (with arrows)
Now shows views for left and right on dash

Metric distance option for Navigation....not vehicle wide.
3D Maps
Follow-Me FSD subscription profile
Waze-like road hazard crowd reporting in maps
Birds Eye Camera View (camera views stitched together to simulate Birds eye view)
PIN code for access to Sentry videos
Cabin Camera recording (Valet and repair shop monitoring)
Event alerts and view of event log on app. I left my doors unlocked while away but I don't know if someone opened the door.

Programmed my SEXY buttons on back of my yoke as turn signals with the new blind spot camera on dash with spring update 2025.14.3. Great option for those who mistakenly press the wrong turn signal button on steering wheel.

I did the same but:
- right is autopilot on, because I hate having to double press the dial in order to preserve TACC on lane changes.
- left is blinders, because the wheel "button" is unreachable by hands smaller than Hulk's

NAG: stop asking for steering wheel torque, leverage the capacitive buttons
When I purchased my "highland" I recall asking the seller if the presence of capacitive buttons eventually resulted in the absence of the "torque nag". He nodded. Obviously he didn't understand the question.

That's precisely the solution to avoid the annoying (and sometimes dangerous) need to apply torque to the steering wheel.

There are two solutions:
1) as the car senses that fingers are on any button, such as arrows or wind wipers, but not firm enough to trigger the buttons (try it, it's quite easy), it could simply read this as "hands on wheel". This way you can rest your fingers all along and... no more nags!
2) there's an unused button for cruise control, "for future use"... just use it as an additional way of recognizing hands-on drive.

Update: this has been fixed, eventually, with the latest 2025.14 releases.
Not sure which was the release, but eventually the annoying has disappeared. It looks like that they set a much lower threshold for torque recognition, so low that it suffices leaving one hand on the steering wheel, and unless the car was perfectly driving straight (which can be the case at slow speed), I almost got no nag on a 4 hours drive. Late but still impressive.

For one thing they fix, they break two, however. There's still the very dangerous behavior which prevents any user input relayed to the autopilot if the accelerator pedal is pressed. You can't even disable the autopilot with the wheel button, if you don't remove the foot from the pedals, only change the speed setting.

So we all listen to our wife's or GF so happy life. This is from the GF. How about adding to the right side of the screen an ice to open the glove box for the passenger. She hates asking me to open the glove box.. remember happy GF.

She's right btw. Commander and S3XY button will do the trick. Or the knob.

I added a S3XY button on the passenger side to key the microphone so the passenger can use voice commands.

Do you all use voice commmands at all times? I find them annoying, like having to stop a conversation to say "glovebox" instead of pressing a button...

To continue the kinda-misogynistic GF thing - but it's true - wife just complained that speakers cannot be excluded selectively, and in fact there is no reason why a 2025 super technological car still has only the lateral and longitudinal pan/fade. She has a point.

No, I use commands when they are convenient. You run out of buttons before you run out of commands. I also have an open glovebox button, but letting the passenger voice-input navigation stuff makes a lot of sense.

Sure it does, I'm actually wondering why no car does it - at least to my knowledge. Probably the passenger should be limited to features which aren't affecting the driving. Imagine if they said "ludicrous mode on" while you are already accelerating :)

I added one to do the same in the middle space of the rear seat cup holder. It fits super snug. Requires a little pressure to get it in place but it's perfectly secure. The button controls microphone and next and previous song

I love using these buttons behind the yoke as turn signals but there's a very short but noticeable delay on the buttons due to the buttons being set for more than one command. I hope they can eliminate the delay as it's something I have to consider when changing lanes.

It would be logically possible only if the actions were strictly related to one another. Otherwise the consequences might be undesirable.

E.g. say you have this configuration:
  1. Single-press: headlight blinders momentarily on (upon release back to normal)
  2. Long-press: headlight flash burst (i.e. 3x or more automatically sequenced)
  3. Double-press: headlight blinders toggle on (upon release still on)
Clearly 2 or 3 would start with 1 and it would still work.

But if you had the following:
  1. Single-press: turn signal left
  2. Double-press: open glovebox
  3. Long-press: acceleration toggle chill/standard
Clearly you understand why the controller needs to wait to see if the first press followed by another in quick succession or retained until the long-press preset threshold, before triggering 1, 2 or 3.

As disappointing as it looks, I quickly realized that my plan of having 3 actions on my left steering wheel button failed miserably, as it was only following the lack of correct advertisement on their website, about the necessity of such delay.
