Road blocking not in Navigation

Unfortunately no, Tesla doesn't really allow for crowdsourcing information like that or excluding certain roads. You would have to wait for them to update the map information or use a different navigation app like Waze to get around it efficiently.
Sad. Some additional questions:
- does anyone know what the database of Tesla navigation is?
- Might there a 'local' input to my navigation to avoid the road / crossing?
For me it's confusing:
- When I had my MY new and driving home I thought "what a crazy way home" and went instead the Autobahn - only to get frustrated: that exit was blocked for 1 or 2 days so I had a long way around.
- Now these 2 construction sites are long going but are not known by my navigation.

Tesla navigation is mostly based on Mapbox infrastructure, with map data coming largely from OpenStreetMap and routing handled by the Valhalla engine. Tesla also uses fleet data from vehicles for traffic and routing estimates.
Unfortunately there isn’t currently a manual “avoid road” option in Tesla navigation. The only workarounds are adding a waypoint to force a different route or reporting a map issue through the car so the closure eventually gets added to the map data.
There is a problem:
- When I ask to bring me home (direct way is blocked due to construction) he recomends 2 alternatives, on long - the other longer. But the second way ALSO has a blockage. Without better knowledge about Germany and construction how shall grok know?
- as far as I understand - grok will process my questions and then will forward my request to the navigation.
Oddly enough I had a Road Blocked notification on a nav recently, and of course by the time I got to that point in the route the road was opened! I give up 
You know, it's funny because I just had the same thing happen to me. There was a closed street near my neighborhood because AT&T is upgrading our area's fiber network, and the car actually notified me of the blocked road. But once I got there, there was nothing blocking the road at all. I really wish they would allow for crowdsourcing things like that, because at worst you just have slightly outdated info. Plus, it seems like every navigation app on a smartphone nowadays allows you to report different things like traffic, accidents, blocked roads, construction, or other map issues.

You aren't alone. That is by and large the biggest complaint over the last few months from Tesla owners. The majority of owners have noted that the navigation has seemingly gotten significantly worse, especially when using FSD. I will often pick a preferred route, and it will immediately switch back to its original planned route instead, or it will often ignore faster, easier routes in favor of longer, more complex ones. Not to mention my biggest gripe with the navigation, which is the fact that it will sometimes (for whatever reason) take the most obtuse path to reach a location on FSD. For example, I will route to my daughter's school for drop-off, and sometimes even though the navigation shows a direct path to the drop-off location with literally no traffic and no obstructions, the car will just decide to do a full loop around the school instead. Or even worse, the times that it will route behind a store location instead of the parking lot and miss clearly visible entrance locations to the said parking lot.
They need to scrap Tesla nav and go 3rd party nav-Waze or Google Maps. Far superior and less mistakes or more enhanced
I dunno if it is the data that has gotten worse, but the nav decisions seem to have slipped IMO. Some weird stuff too, like turning a block early causing me to encounter 2 stop signs vs one. Another behavior I have seen is the car missing the correct driveway entrance at my house, where it used to get it right every single time. Then there are some really wonky alternate routes as options that didn't show up before.
The 'routing' algorithm seems behind the actual driving algorithm as far as maturity goes. My car stops for school busses, emergency vehicles, no-turn-on-red and all kinds of other stuff better than most people at this point.

I think it's worth starting to take pictures of the navigation issues and posting them as they happen. Maybe we can even report them directly to Tesla somehow? Though I'm sure they get enough of that through X (formerly Twitter).
That said, just today I had a really weird occurrence where the car for some reason decided to do a complete reroute or at least displayed it but didn't follow it. Mind you, I have gone down this road hundreds of times before with no issue, but as of the latest 2026.2.9.3 update, for some reason the car will think that a turn that is directly in front of it and is legally doable does not exist. Instead, it switches the navigation to about 1 mile down the road, where it displays it making a U-turn and then making a left turn to the exact road I could have just made a right turn at.
I've also encountered the same driveway issues you have as well, where before it would easily find my driveway and at least attempt to park in it (facing the wrong way or not pulling in fully); it now goes across the street or to my neighbor's driveway instead. What is even weirder is that for some reason it will switch my parking preference from driveway to street parking all on its own. Maybe it has to do with how often you cancel its parking at a certain location? I really don't know, but it is frustrating because I tend to cancel it due to it not backing into my driveway or pulling into my carport. But I only cancel it once I am directly in front of my home already.
Another weird occurrence (probably has nothing to do with FSD or navigation) is that once I arrive at a destination and allow it to park, it will automatically kick me out of my driving profile, switch to the easy entry profile, and reset the trip computer as if it is my first drive. It doesn't do this if I cancel its parking procedure and finish the parking myself.

There are rumors floating around that Tesla is working on implementing some sort of update to their mapping/routing, and it (supposedly) will work on all their cars regardless of hardware. But I don't know how true it is or when it is coming.
