ya, the concept sounds good but its still relying on stock images. It's great that the car can pick the image based on your location. If you reside in a building-sure having a large 3 D image of said building, with YELLOW -white parking lines is more appealing than greyed bland images.
Not sure too many supercharges are located along the beach-so that screams fake. The idea really comes to life with GREEN trees/bushes-white clouds, BLUE shy, etc. It's still a fake rendered image but looks much more appealing. Keep in mind GARMIN GPS units did this over a DECADE ago.
If only they could continue this WHILE DRIVING-going on the freeway and U see GREEN signs with white lettering-that sign would be enlarged as U approach, along with the entire fake: green trees, bushes, blue skies, a few white clouds (depending on the forecast). You could also have it display virtual rain/snow/fog. In the FALL-the image could show all the trees with FALL colors, blowing leaves. Wintertime-snow covered trees/bushes, snow piles, slush on roads, etc.
This would almost be a GAME CHANGER as far as a HUGE step in the right direction in enhanced User Interface renderings.
This would be MUCH appreciated and highly sought after.....fingers crossed for Christmas update.........hey I can dream right.
