This is extremely interesting stuff! I wonder how much more they can squeeze out performance-wise by doing optimizations like this. It seems like there is still room to be able to optimize it even further, but then again, I don't really know much about AI or how this kind of stuff even works.

I only recently learned that the AI/Neural Network isn't even directly controlling the car; it is more like giving commands to a different "layer" that actually controls the inputs like steering, braking, acceleration, etc.
