I have been seeing more and more of their ground‑truth vehicles roaming around the city recently. My guess is that they are just waiting for V15 to really start expanding the working areas of existing service zones, rather than doing so before V15 is released on Robotaxi. It will still likely take them weeks, if not months, after V15 drops on the fleet for them to validate it and really put it through its paces before we start seeing them enter new markets. But who knows—maybe they have been running these ground‑truth vehicles more often to start capturing the necessary data beforehand, so that when the time comes, they can expand significantly faster.
