Honestly, I don't know why or if this is really coming as a surprise to anyone. I think it was known that sales would likely slow down because of the removal of the EV tax credit. That said, I still find it pretty impressive that they sold so many cars, and the real question will be Q1 2026. When the EV tax credit ended, we were already in the beginning of Q4, and they technically extended that credit a bit further into Q4. It will be interesting to see what sales numbers are like in Q1 2026 with no credit or incentives at all (except for the state incentives).
