One of my biggest complaints with the Model 3 rear seats specifically is that the low-mounted air vents really don't do enough cooling, especially in the summer. It gets even worse with my kid who needs to use a toddler seat, because the seat itself is so large that it blocks most of the direct airflow. This means that my kid will often not get enough air and sometimes sweat even if I have the AC blowing hard and the temperature set low. I also have all the glass in my car tinted with ceramic tint on top of using a mesh cover for the roof glass to stop the heat coming through as much as possible.

My only wish is that they would add roof-mounted vents in the Model 3 instead of the low-mounted ones. In the Model 3 specifically, they have that giant bar that goes right through the center of the roof glass, and that seems like an incredible spot to put vents. I don't know why they didn't put it there instead of so low on the rear screen.

That better be some super clean air, I fear dust would collect between the panes and in the tiny holes.

Or just do what most do-pry open yr wallet and pay for sun shade.

The glass mesh thingy won’t do much but add to the cost of the vehicle…….roof shade cheap ones $50 bucks, delivered.
