I wonder if this has anything to do with this recent video from the IIHS? From what I can tell, I thought this was due to the headlights themselves, and not the parking lights. Good to know they're addressing it, I really dislike how many cars (especially pickup trucks) have horrendously aimed headlights. I always get blinded by them in my Model 3, and they basically make my rearview and side mirrors useless most of the time at night or early mornings. There really should be some form of mandatory annual vehicle check-in or something, because a lot of these headlights are seriously dangerous for other road users. Especially those people that decide to put LED lights on headlight housings that weren't meant for them.
