This seems to me to be a big deal.
When I was shopping for a Tesla there were some screaming deals on salvage title cars in Utah IIRC. I want to say there were two places in UT that seemed to specialize in them. I am pretty ignorant on salvage / branded (or whatever they're called) titles so I didn't consider them. I suppose insurance would be the other potential hurdle.
