"regenerative braking makes the vehicle's electric motor spin backward"

Need to re-phrase this one. Makes the electric field retard motor rotation instead of power it.

Gears, there are gears connection the motor to the wheels, would burn a LOT of rubber if the motor suddenly went backwards.

I'm still hunting to find specifics on just how much energy regen applies back to the battery.
It would be nice to see this in the power screen. Maybe another tab labeled REGEN.
It could show percentage and also a nice touch would be to show the actual volts and amps
in real time along with a history. That's not asking too much now is it?
Anyone want to suggest this to Elon?

Nope! The brake lights do not show on the simulation of the car on the screen. At least not on my screen. I have a 2023 Model 3 with the latest S/W as of May 29, 2023. I have seen posts on other fora suggesting that it might be hard to see if your car is red, so I even changed the car color to yellow. Still no brake lights.
