    Tesla Politics

Exactly that. The cars are with no doubt very advanced in tech and great to drive. I really hope that Elon does have some respect left for Tesla to not let it go down like this. He doesnt seem to really care anymore about Tesla, never did i hear him speak about the issues that are going on...

    Tesla Politics

I guess its time for using sentry mode more regularly, even if it means more battery drain. Its a sad reality we live in in right now - we are driving great cars but having to deal with Elons influence on them makes it bitter sweet... Thats why we all cant have nice things :D Elon, please leave...

Discuss: Tesla's FSD In Europe Faces More Regulatory Delays

And there we have it, European bureaucracy at its best - i kinda was expecting that to be honest, but it looked promising for the last months. Anyway, the wait continues :D

Discuss: Tesla Software Update 2025.8 Released to Employees—What May Be Included

@Not a Tesla App Why is the Trailer Profiles Update only for S, X and Y? I have a Model 3 with Tow Hitch and would really like to have the Trailer Profiles and Mileage, and Range Estimation, as i tow trailers on a regular basis :)

Discuss: Tesla’s NACS Charging Standard Receives MotorTrend Best Tech Award

You are right, 3 phase power is standard over here. But i have a question. NACS is also capable of DC Supercharging with a much "smaller" connector. How is this possible when built for only one phase power? Over here, DC Charging has its own plugs below the standard CCS2 Plug on Superchargers.

Discuss: Tesla FSD Vehicles To Receive Latest Features With Update 2025.2.8

HW3 seems to never be getting to the same base version as HW4 as it has reached its computing limits. In another article, it was stated that the HW4 FSD Model is too big for the HW3 Computer to handle, so they made a "shrinked" Version of FSD for those vehicles. Cant imagine that they can...

Discuss: Tesla Awaits Regulatory Green Light for FSD in Europe

It really seems to be on the horizon for Europe. My own prediction last year was somewhere Q3 or Q4 2025, as Q1 was far too optimistic, knowing the time it takes for getting something regulatory approved over here ;) Lets see how far i am off with this :D

Discuss: Tesla’s NACS Charging Standard Receives MotorTrend Best Tech Award

I always wondered why our DC connector in the EU (CCS2) is so extremely large and has a strange form (DC Plugs right below the standard ac connector). Would really like to have the NACS Standard here in Europe too. But as long as charging works for AC and DC - this is not a major miss, i never...

Discuss: Tesla Launches FSD in China: First Look [Video]

Great News! The FSD release in Europe seems to be as close as it has never been before. It would be amazing to see it coming this year. Fingers crossed!

Discuss: Will Tesla's Unsupervised FSD Require a Front Bumper Camera? [Opinion]

True, but by the time this is released in europe and is unsupervised, i maybe change my vehicle anyway, lets see :) If USS comes back, i would still have it equipped, maybe they will get activated again in the future. For Park Assists they are still active for now

Discuss: Will Tesla's Unsupervised FSD Require a Front Bumper Camera? [Opinion]

Well, i guess we will not know what is necessary for full Unsupervised FSD until its released - they promised many times before that this will be the final things you need for FSD but then they released Hardware Generation after Generation :D I will now wait until its fully released and then...

Discuss: Tesla Introducing Virtual Queues for Superchargers: Here’s How It Could Work

Interesting. In my time of Tesla Ownership, i never got to such a busy supercharger that i had to wait for getting a charge. But i can imagine that on very crowded places this can occur. Theres some questions that arise from this queue idea. What if a vehicle is so low on battery that it will...

Discuss: Tesla Intel Atom (MCU 2) and AMD Ryzen (MCU 3): Feature Differences and How to Tell What You Have

Seeing all the differences in features and performance listed in the article, makes me think those things are never going to be able to make it to the MCU2 ever - it just lacks the processing power. Maybe one or two things will still make it to MCU2 but anyways im still happy with my vehicle and...

Discuss: Smart Assistant 'Grok' Coming to Tesla, Demo of Grok 3 Tonight

Great News! This is not dependent on Hardware speed, so this comes to all of our vehicles. Tesla keeps improving our vehicles, big thumbs up!

    Precipitation map overlay

It is indeed confusing, but notateslaapp.com helps to keep track on whats happening for me. Precipitation map overlay

Your car does not have the software version it needs for it. You likely have MCU2 as your infotainment computer, which means this feature is only availbale on Software Update 2024.45.32.2 for Intel Vehicles. The update should arrive to you soon, as i already got it a few weeks ago. If not, try...

    Enhanced autopilot/navigate on autopilot

It can auto switch lanes without reengaging AP, but it requires you to set a turn signal to the lane you want to switch to (at least here in EU). They should at least push some of the smoothness and legal capabilities to the EU if FSD does not get approved this year :/ At the moment, AP can be...

Discuss: Tesla's Earnings Call Recap - HW3 Upgrade, Unsupervised FSD, FSD V14 and More

As long as FSD isnt here anyways i dont mind keeping HW3 for another year or two, as it doesnt make a difference for EAP/Autopilot. You could be right with that, makes sense to first prove that unsupervised fsd is possible for AI4. The remaining question is if upgraded HW3 vehicles will ever be...
