Discuss: Tesla Adds Options to Actually Smart Summon, Supports Sunglasses in FSD 12.5.4

I think it drives faster than 12.5.1.3, particularly in slow corners. All around more confident. It will be interesting to see what edge cases, if any, have been solved that have been complaints for a long time. Crossing gates at railroads, for instance. Or not turning when No Turn On Red...

How long until i get FSD 12.5.3?

Tesla must have found some problems. When 12.3 came out, it was amazing and they quickly went through a number of minor revs. Then it went quiet, and it seemed to me, judging from Youtube FSD videos, that 12.4 was having issues. I was happy not to have got it, and it seems Tesla just...

    Software update wishlist

Probably already mentioned somewhere in this thread, but: 1. Accelerating past 85mph in FSD should not give me the red handcuffs. Sometimes you're cruising along at the limits of FSD (85mph) and need to accelerate out of a tight spot. FSD should simply return you to manual control. I don't...

How long until i get FSD 12.5.3?

You may have what amounts to 2024.26.1, but because you have a .100 instead of a .1, you have a higher rev number than 2024.26.2, .3, .4, etc. Whatever bug fixes or new features have been added in those revisions, you have a higher number, and Tesla doesn't go backward in their numbering...

How long until i get FSD 12.5.3?

Yes, new build version number there (ends in .100). Don't bother looking for updates for a good month. You also wont be able to get any of the 2024.26 builds since your version number is higher.

How long until i get FSD 12.5.3?

Brand new? Does it have a software version ending in .100 or .200? If so, you generally don't receive a first update for a month or so.

    FSD 12.5 Issues

I just got back from a 3600-mile drive in my 2023 MYP. Phoenix to Iowa and back, via Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. I doubt I drove even 100 miles myself, and my girl was similar in her shifts. FSD 12.5.1.3. One safety-related disengagement in Colorado, and lots of 'supervision'...

Discuss: Tesla's Model Y Juniper Refresh: What to Expect & Wishlist

As a 2023 MYP owner, I have a few requests. 1. Above all, make it more comfortable, and by that I mostly mean noise control. I would prefer substantially less road noise and somewhat less wind noise. And I would definitely like suspension that is more comfortable. 2. 10% more range would...

    FSD 12.5 Issues

Look at the software version for 12.5.1.3. I think it was chosen so that everyone else can get to it, much like happened when 12.3.6 came out. It's definitely coming for HW3, and probably sooner rather than later. After all, non-FSD12.5 is up to 2024.26.7 and only has 26.8 and 26.9 left to...

    FSD 12.5 Issues

I did another test last night to see if 12.5.1.1 was consistently better at coming in through my gate, which automatically opens (via homelink) when you get close enough to the gate. This time I maybe did 1% better than before in approaching, waiting and then going through the open gates...

    FSD 12.5 Issues

Today I saw evidence that the car indeed reads speed limit signs under some circumstances, but it might still be that there is a speed limit tied to GPS data. I came west on Sonoran Parkway, normally 45mph for about 7 miles with a few passing lanes. About half of this stretch is covered with...

    FSD 12.5 Issues

Actually, my math may not have been wrong after all! Today I did a 25 mile loop around north Phoenix, and I saw temps from 112F to 115F. The car was set to 71F, and it got quite comfortable, even though I have no extra tinting or sun shades. I took a picture of the energy screen on the car...

    FSD 12.5 Issues

My math was wrong - more like 1/6 battery for climate. Unfortunately I didn't set a trip meter for this trip for review, but on my previous trip (86 miles), I used 35% of my battery with 29.4% for driving and 4.9% for climate.

Discuss: Musk Confirms 'Actually Smart Summon' is Coming in a Revision of FSD V12.5

They're going to need a lot of revision numbers to add: sunglasses monitoring, reverse, summon/banish, cybertruck, hw3, vehicle-to-fleet, better lane changing, and highway stack.

    FSD 12.5 Issues

I finally found out that turning off the Auto speed offset brings a measure of sanity to the speed issues. I drove to Wickieup with Auto enabled, and it was tedious. Turned off the Auto setting, and most of the issues were gone. And without the Auto setting, the scroll wheel functionality...

    FSD 12.5 Issues

I've had pretty much the same experience. 12.5 is great in the city, but not so great on long rural highways. If it doesn't pick up a speed limit change, it may be trying drive for miles at speeds much lower than the surrounding traffic. Regardless of the speed limit it picks up, your speed...

Discuss: Tesla FSD V12.5 Rolls to Employees; Tesla is Now Updating FSD Vehicles on Update 2024.14.9

I talked the wife into going out on an FSD test run tonight, bribing her with a shake from In-n-Out. Car was amazing. Passed the wife test, finally, because it is now so so smooth, and it glides into red lights now rather than almost ramming them. Throttle control can be immaculate -just...

Discuss: Tesla FSD V12.5 Rolls to Employees; Tesla is Now Updating FSD Vehicles on Update 2024.14.9

OK, got 20.10 and FSD 12.5 today, less than 2 days after getting 20.9. Naturally I took the car on my usual 5-mile test loop to Subway. The loop goes surface streets on the way there, and it takes the freeway back, so I see city and highway stacks. First Impressions -smoother! Speeding up...
