Great insight. Though I would make the case that the press and release signals are not sent by the button to the Controller until completion of the desired press action. Using your example... Single-press: turn signal left. The button detects two actions here...a press and a release.....then...

I love using these buttons behind the yoke as turn signals but there's a very short but noticeable delay on the buttons due to the buttons being set for more than one command. I hope they can eliminate the delay as it's something I have to consider when changing lanes.

I added one to do the same in the middle space of the rear seat cup holder. It fits super snug. Requires a little pressure to get it in place but it's perfectly secure. The button controls microphone and next and previous song
