An update is an update. Hopefully this has more to it that the dot dot dot increment implies.

I'm just hoping this is to address the speed profiles. It's getting pretty annoying constantly having to adjust them. What's the point of having FSD if I have to constantly interact with it to adjust the speed.

yet another nothing really new update for HW4, meanwhile hw3 cars-U GET NOTHING and I imagine HW5 owners will truly enjoy UFSD while HW4 owners will be left out in the future, forcing people (who want UFSD) to purchase HW5 cars for huge bucks.

Having worked in the software world my entire career, it truly feels like Tesla IT is a mess regarding their merge and release strategies. There is no real reason why HW3 cars shouldn't get some of the garden-variety features being rolled out to others. I never felt frustrated owning a regular car, except when pumping gas in the winter. I've been constantly frustrated by Tesla once the novelty wore off. Here's to hoping other manufacturers have compelling options when this is paid off.

I think their main issue is communication. If they communicated exactly WHY they can't implement those features, it would make it a lot more understandable. I'm certain that it likely has to do with some limitation in the compute power, or memory constraints. But that still doesn't mean that they shouldn't be telling people why they can't update their cars with certain features. From what I can remember, the Intel Atom in MCU2/HW3 vehicles are pretty bad processors, and their graphic processing power is pretty weak, which is the main reason that they ended up going with Ryzen in later versions of MCU2/HW3.

Seems it’s all hands on deck for HW4 but all the people who have HW3 are being phased out.

What happened to ANY updates since the Xmas one, don’t get me wrong I did like that update but ever since then it’s all about HW4 FSD ?
