I don't know about anyone else, but this isn't just an indicator of confidence to me. This is an outright show that there is a certain level of unsupervised FSD that is likely to be in the works already, and is only in the matter of time. Maybe this will be a case of less and less supervision required on the driver's part until it is entirely removed as long as laws and regulation allows. If we see them remove the safety monitors/drivers from their Robotaxi network any time soon, then I would wager that it won't be long after that we see FSD unsupervised in those areas already approved for Robotaxi operation. Perhaps at first it will be limited to the same areas where Robotaxi operates, and later it will open to more and more areas as both confidence and certainty from the part of Tesla and legislators grows in the software.
