Nifty. I stuck a USB C cable and a magsafe 2 charger in my console to charge phones and turned off the built in ones.
I *think* a Qi2 puck that sits on the charging pad would solve a lot of problems. Maybe it's just because I have an iPhone with a LARGE camera bump. Seems like something sitting up on a puck would allow some cooling with more exposed surface to air AND a better charging connection.

i think i’m going to end up turning them off. at this point, the wireless chargers are just phone warmers. combined with the fact that i don’t use a case on my phone, it definitely doesn’t stay still. i lose battery placing my phone on there.

I am lucky enough to own a 3D printer and made myself a sort of tray just to get my phone to stay in the right place and not slide around. It definitely helps keep it in place, but it still charges so slowly and heats the phone so much that I rarely use it at all. It works well as a spot to just place my phone, but it's terrible at what it is actually meant to function as.
