Smart summon range and autonomy

Simple question. if the cyber cab is doing so well and FSD is so capable why cant i summon my car across the entire length of my local walmart parking lot yet? I hope they increase the summon range and allow it cross and drive on or across roads with speeds of 25mph or less. This would make the feature acutally usable. If they release the banish feature it would be HUGE!

Currently, I believe it's due to regulation. Similar reason to why they can't just release unsupervised FSD to every vehicle yet. There are laws regarding autonomous vehicles, and there are not only federal laws, but also State and local laws as well. It might be a while before we get a better, more useful version of Actually Smart Summon. But I agree entirely, I rarely use it because it is always either out of range, or it takes so long to start up and get going that I could just walk to my car faster. The only time I've actually found a use for it is when it is raining.
