I am extremely hesitant to try anything like this in my vehicle. Fears of having data be monitored, information being stolen (like logins), and even simply web apps being able to possibly use things like the in car camera or microphone. It is going to be a hard pass from me. Unless it is supported in some form officially, or has a proven track record, I would not use anything like this.

My answer will probably not convince you completely, but I'll still have a try. First the Tesla browser (based on Chromium) has a lot of limitations, most probably because of safety: among these limitations, it is impossible for a web site to access the camera and the microphone. The microphone can be used to dictate into a browser field, but this is the Tesla OS who gets the audio, and transform it into text, not the browser. So leaks through camera and microphone are locked.
Regarding the passwords, incarweb.app has 3 ways to launch a web site:
- same tab or external tab (tabs opened by the browser): in those 2 cases, the browser handles the launch. Incarweb.app has absolutely no way to know any password.
- using internal tab: some web sites (not all) accept to be launched on an iframe. Internal tabs are iframes. Chromium is a modern browser (it is the base used by Google Chrome, Opera and other well known browser) and restricts a lot what can be done between the main web site and the web site contained in an iframe. Unless the iframed site allows to communicate with the main web site, there is no way for the main web site to get the content of the iframed web site. Except the fact that you visited, for example, Audible, there is no way to know what you have been listening in Audible.

With a long press on any icon you can choose how to launch its link. If you still don't trust the internal tabs always launch with "open in a new tab" or "open in same tab".

I hope my explainations are clear enough and convincing. I also hope other developpers in this forum will confirm my saying.

Phone apps that measure 0-60 mph times generally have limited accuracy for two main reasons:

• Most of them use a 1 Hz GPS refresh rate (only one location update per second).
• GPS position accuracy is typically around 5 meters (or worse under real-world conditions).

This is good enough to measure the 0-60 mph time of a fully loaded truck...

On Tesla vehicles, however, the GPS refresh rate is 10 Hz or higher and positional accuracy can be under 1 meter.
This results in significantly more accurate 0-60 mph measurements — often comparable to a dedicated Dragy unit.

The app has been improved to load even faster and has also migrated to a much faster server, allowing it to handle significantly more simultaneous connections. The monthly number of unique visitors has exceeded 4,000 (excluding bots), with 95% of visits originating from Tesla vehicles.

In this update:

• You can now add your own links. If the added site allows it, it will open in a tab inside incarweb.app.
  
• Persistent connection: the web browser closes shortly after its window is minimized (often to view the GPS map). When you bring the web browser back up, it reloads and you have to launch the site all over again. This makes the web browser practically unusable in some situations. The new version of incarweb.app fixes this issue seamlessly. The web browser no longer closes: you can receive speed camera alerts from teslanav.com or codriver.io while viewing Tesla's GPS map.
• Theme switching: the current display is inspired by the Tesla dashboard. Other themes that are easier on the eyes have been added.
• The 0–60 mph (0–100 km/h) timer now lives in its own app: Takynos. There's a free version, which is a slight improvement over the previous one, and a paid (but inexpensive) version, Takynos Pro, coming soon, which delivers greater accuracy, measures acceleration time (0 to X), rolling acceleration (X to Y), and deceleration (Y to X), times how long it takes to cover a set distance (a quarter mile, for example), and records lap times on a track after an initial automated reconnaissance lap. And… there's also a drag race mode where two vehicles connect to each other and can launch together thanks to a synchronized Christmas tree displayed on each screen.
