There is no point NON to use it's and there should be an angry Joe mode which goes down to 25%.

Ironically in the highland the only sound I would like to hear more is the reverse, since auto-shift came into town. Often you are in reverse after a parking, with no car in front of you, and it just goes backwards without you hearing anything due to the noise insulation of the highland. True they lowered music, but if music ain't playing or it's already fading...

It'd be nice to have headrest speakers like the Polestars. That way all the beeps and bongs can play right behind the driver ONLY without distracting anyone else.

THIS is a solution. So you can tamper with the speaker electrically and get rid of all of them at once.

Jokes apart, Polestar's solution is interesting but doesn't really require headrest speakers, they just need to make sure than all the audible alerts are panned left (or right, in countries where people still drive the wrong way ) and front, et voilà.
