While I get the point of what the spirit of the article, and the post in which brings the point to light, whomever is either the author, the editor, or other individual responsible for fact checking, please do better. Additionally, please be mindful of how the post tagline may be mislead others.

The tagline itself may make the reader to believe that all of the vehicles which Tesla manufactures aren't eligible for the tax credit.

It must be made known that a 7-second Google search will reveal the following (all based off information gathered from Consumer Reports -
https://www.consumerreports.org/car...at-qualify-for-new-ev-tax-credit-a9310530660/ )

1) Tesla manufactures two vehicles that qualify for the tax credit - the limits of which include an MSRP of up to $55,000 for a sedan platform and an MSRP of up to $80,000 for an SUV platform. As the MSRP for a new model S and a new model X exceed this limit, they will not be eligible for this tax credit.

2) the Model Y qualifies depending on how it comes is equipped from the factory. The 5-seat version gets the sedan tax credit while the 7-seat version gets the SUV tax credit.

3) Consumer Reports has a list of vehicles covered by this tax credit. While, yes, the Wrangler 4xe qualifies for the tax credit, so does the model Y.

4) Most new vehicles which are classified as either a full EV or hybrid, and where the cost does not exceed the set maximum MSRP will qualify for the tax credit.

5) The list of vehicles covered by the tax credit is being added to on a regular basis.
