I could see these being useful for a "depot" kind of location, or even places like long-term airport parking and such, but I can't really see them being useful for basically anywhere else. They are so inefficient at actually transferring energy, I would be surprised if they can charge even the battery in the Cybercab in anything under an hour. If they do, they must be pumping some serious power through them to achieve under an hour of charging.
