This will be interesting. Perhaps the Qi 2 standard? Seriously though, this won't come cheap and won't be as efficient as a plug. Not to be a negative Nelly :) . I can see a benefit besides the ease of use- trip hazard reduction. Maybe. We'll see.

I don't think I would like to use wireless charging but it might come in handy for someone like my wife who just doesn't want to deal with plugging and un-plugging things. Plus, she doesn't drive a ton so it wouldn't really matter if it was a bit slower. Hopefully it's not to inefficient though; I hate to waste energy.
