That's great and all, but as I've said many times, and will keep saying. If these cars are going to be so tech focused and the hardware is going to be cycled so frequently, they should be made upgradeable. Having a car be such an expensive purchase but be outdated so quickly is not only bad for customer perception, but also terrible for resale value. Not a lot of people are going to want to buy the “old” stuff, even if it is still very capable, and all you have to do is look at basically any other electronics market to see that. I hope they have a plan for this, and they make them upgradeable.
