THEY need to start deploying robot beta testing at malls, car shows,AI/tech events. You have to get people acclamated to having and seeing robots around.

The robots should deliver every new car.

Or was it a Freudian slip of his uncertainty in the actual timeline. I'm just teasing a bit, but given Tesla's track record of delays and overshoots, it really wouldn't come as a surprise. Especially if they really do want to settle on AI5 being the main hardware on those cars. It's easy to have a few test vehicles with AI5, but to scale that to the level they have planned, plus to cover the regular fleet, would mean a massive amount of hardware they would require.
