Seems like a 6 seater would be a capable RT, no? I agree with those that say RTs aren’t replacing personally owned vehicles anytime soon.

I agree with the article that this feels like more of a move to make sure that it doesn't cannibalize sales of current Model Ys' or Model X. Because other than that, this would be a great addition to the line-up in North America, and I'm sure it would sell really well.
