Thanks for the post. The arguments about the Atom Processor to have the same UI across the vehicles makes sense and is likely to happen. I just wonder if its the same for HiFi Park Assist, New Autopark and the Overall Visualization Update (with Full Screen Visuals in Park). Time will tell!

I have one with USS, but it only appears on very well marked parking spots, but my experience using it is not as good as for Sonny1983. For me, it cancels 75% of its parking attempts with no reason (no pedestrian around or anything). It just kinda realises it cant find the parking spot anymore...

Wow, so the 2024.14 Update only has Audible, Preview of Sentry on Phone and some other miscellaneous stuff for the Atom Processor :D Hardware gets outdated very soon (3 year old car!). Lets see if one or more features will eventually come to Atom CPU

I think not yet. We will have to wait and see if the Atom is capable of doing it, but i think we will get it later when it gets optimized for slow hardware.

I assume we will, it is nowhere stated that this is Ryzen Exclusive. On the visuals update and high fidelity park assists its written "Ryzen MCU" as a Requirement.

Regarding the Park Assist Update for MCU3 and USS Vehicles: Seems like we're missing out much with the Intel Atom MCU lately :D I hope Tesla doesnt cut this CPU out of anything too soon as it was just sold in 2021, its not even full 3 years ago. I hope they work on optimization for Atom

It seems like whis will be available for the refresh Model Y Juniper when it releases, as its currently only for the Highland Model 3. What i was not able to find out, do you require specific hardware to receive that? Is it some sensor under the rear bumper or just Bluetooth Low Energy...

As far as i was able to find out, there will be likely NO retrofit option for Intel Atom MCU to Ryzen MCU because of different voltage and/or cable sockets. For me its ok, at least we profit from a slightly better Power consumption, and maybe the update does come, but later in time.

Thanks for the comparison. I dont watch videos in my Tesla often or want to play any games in it (for that i have my gaming pc at home), so i think my Intel Atom is enough for me, plus it saves some battery power for range. I just hope it will be capable of getting the new UI and full screen...

I dont think so, this is only implementing the recent FSD 12 build into the 2024.8 branch and FSD is still only available in US and Canada

Sure, but recognizing traffic lights status for deciding when to go or not is also part of the FSD Stack and it will probably not run the red light in your described scenario, at least i hope so :D Its unclear when they release it in Europe yet, it could come in late 2024 if we're lucky. I...

As you stated we dont have FSD in Europe yet, so our "Autopilot" is on a very old and depricated state and not very reliable since they focus on FSD instead of improving legacy things. I expect this to not be an issue when FSD is rolling out for Europe as it will be a completely different...

Why is it released in the 2024.2 branch? I already got 2024.8.4 so i dont get this feature :D Is it maybe not available in Europe?

This is good news! Can't wait to have FSD Beta in Europe, since i have the FSD Package on since buying the car. Finally theres hope that we get something in return for this purchase :)
