My model S with 3 hardware when I purchased fsd but Tesla switched to MCU2 after I received my car. I have complained about the lack of updates and we figured out it’s because I have MCU1. I’m holding out for a free upgrade to MCU2 if fsd does not work with the old MCU. Time will tell.

Is your main battery showing some charge? Have you put a voltmeter on the 12v battery to see what kind of charge you have? You may have fried the battery but they are not that expensive to replace. Just did mine a couple months ago.

Agree with the lanes change part because that appears to be an issue. It takes way to long to decide to change lanes to a point it will slow down where as if I’m driving I change lanes before reaching that point.

Interesting take but I have my doubts this is happening any time soon. Would I like to be proven wrong, sure as I have FSD on my car.

I have FSD with MCU1. I have upgraded to hardware3 and they recently put new cameras on the car for free. My software is at 2022.8. Having MCU1 is only for the infotainment part of the car and should not prevent us from newer updates but it appears to be the case. I was told by the service...
