Or maybe it's just a bug in TeslaFI that's causing 2026.20 to show up as 2026.2 on their site :)
It's definitely a bug on TeslaFi, none of the other trackers show any vehicles being downgraded with 2026.2

If I don't receive the update to 14 or 20 by the beginning of next week, I'll try to open a support ticket and ask them to take another closer look at it
Hold steady, there is likely a reason they aren't updating people to the 2026.14.x branch. From the looks of it (on TeslaFi), they haven't sent out any meaningful waves of 2026.14.6 in a long while, but that could also be because the represented fleet on TeslaFi is small relative to all the cars that are eligible for the update.

I only just received update 2026.14.6.6 with FSD 14.3.3 today in the early AM hours. This is after being on 2026.2.9.10 with FSD 14.3.2 for a while and the newer version having officially started going out to early access testers on 05/16/2026. Which makes it exactly a 2-week gap between the original release and when I received the update. I think I was on the previous update for a little over a month before getting the new update today.

That said, they may just skip updating more cars to 2026.14.x, and you may instead get the new 2026.20.x branch of updates.

Nope, they have a lot on their plate, new update out with some undocumented features then there’s the hw3 Fsd 14.3 lite trying to get that fixed for deployment for mid June, and another branch of hw4 Fsd.

There’s some additional grok tweaks coming, summer update they are working on…….oh maybe we will get a new light show. Don’t know if banish will make a cameo appearance yet ?.

I live in Finland, so I don’t have access to FSD or Grok. Spring update that I am waiting to receive started rolling in Europe mid April. Essentially, it is one and a half month delay for me.

I also used to receive the older updates fairly quickly, so it doesn’t seem right.

In 4 days, it will have been 50 days since I received the last update, which will be a record for the longest wait I’ve ever had, and 48 days since the first part of the Spring Update was rolled out.

A total of approximately 12,500 cars are registered on TeslaFi, and of those, 108 still have this version; of those 108, 31 are in Finland and 32 are in Denmark.

Very Exclusive Club 8.6, we cannot leave :D

If you end up opening a support ticket about this, please let us know what they say :)

I am on day 52. Updated to 2026.8.6 on April 9 :)
And it did not bring any interesting features, just some text renaming :)

I am also from Denmark.

My car is also on 2026.8.6, and I have been wondering why I have not received the update either. I know two other people from Denmark who have also not received it.

I have an appointment with Tesla tomorrow for a warranty issue, and I will ask them about the update, but I expect to receive a standard answer.

I created a service request yesterday. They first said they pushed the update to my vehicle, but the update they pushed was 2026.8.6. I did the upgrade anyway hoping it would trigger another upgrade, which didn’t happen.

Then, I asked them again for 2026.14.X or 2026.20.X updates, which they responded saying “that is the most recent update for your vehicle, and updates come in different waves depending on the vehicle”.

So, contacting Tesla was also no help getting the spring update. I really don’t understand why Tesla doesn’t push the update to my 2026 Model 3 vehicle.

I was at Tesla today, and the Tesla employee had not received it either. He even checked if it was available for him, and it was not.

He said that updates are rolled out randomly to avoid overloading the network. If a newer update is released in the meantime, the car will normally be updated directly to the newest software version instead. That is why we have not received 2026.8.6.

Okay, thanks for the info :)

Yeah, it does seem strange that a few cars are “left behind” like that. I just checked the Tessie.com software tracker, which has a little over 600,000 cars registered, and about 83% of them are on version 2026.14 or higher.

Checking does nothing but contribute to your update anxiety.

These guys created these updates to feed yr FOMO and it’s like a drug addiction that’s spreading. So ridiculous and for what……stuff u use a few times then goes untouched for life.

I got the 2026.14.6 update now.

I don’t know if it is a coincidence with the manual push yesterday from the service center or not, but I am happy :).

Thanks for the update :)

I also got a message from the person I was chatting with on YouTube, who’d also been waiting a very long time for 2026.14, saying he’d received it yesterday, so I hope it’ll be pushed out to my car very soon :)

Finally :D after 49 days, matching my old record waiting for an update

And to answer my own question from the first post in this thread: even though it’s in the process of downloading an update, one of the software banks is still listed as offline, and it remains so after the update has been downloaded and is ready to be installed

So my 2026 Model 3 in Finland is now not getting the 2026 summer update (2026.26.X) and stuck at 2026.20.6.1 for the whole summer.

I don't know why Tesla delivers the major updates months later to HW4 cars in Finland.
