After being on version 2025.44 for about 8 months, today I received the latest version of the navigation update... I thought I'd share here because I didn't see TeslaFi update it on their end and haven't seen an article about it. I'm really hoping this brings some much-needed improvements to the navigation info and will help FSD perform better.

U can only view nav updates inside car, not from app and no notification ?. So guess I just park near wifi for the few days.
No, not really. I have only noticed some speed limits that were incorrect previously now displaying the correct speed limit and some newer roads appearing properly on the map.
Yes, basically exactly that. There isn't a way to force the update or to install it manually. You just have to wait until it's sent to your vehicle, and then it will download and install automatically when connected to WiFi. Mine downloaded while connected to my WiFi hotspot while driving the car, but it didn't finish installing until I reached my destination and parked for about 5 minutes.
no updates sent to non subscribers to fsd. It appears if you are an fsd subscriber you will get the map updates quicker.
I been parked near wifi and connected to wifi for over a week........no map update ever appeared, no mobile charge cable notification.....but the moment my friend subscribed to fsd----boom map update. Seems certain updates are cash motivated.

You won't get a notification when you get the map update or the mobile charger update. You would manually have to check if you have the latest map version (NA-2026.26) by going into the software section in the menu of the car. Tesla does also still do phased rollouts of those updates, so it could be a week or two from initial release before you get the update on your own vehicle.
Nope-it’s cash motivated expedited to yr car. We do check DAILY from inside the car, did all the toggle slider tricks.

My friend has same car, same year, parked next to me-he drove it daily. The exact hour he paid for Fsd-boom map update, Fsd unlocked and he got the notification for mobile charger.
Cash is king……..credit card in reality. Tesla software roll out team (AI will soon take over the rollouts) puts a special priority on paying customers.
I believe residual revenue streams are factored in. I’d speculate a specific line of code dedicated to prioritizing roll outs has already been implemented for AI replacing physical jobs.

Prove me wrong-locking EVERYTHING behind a pay wall is growing and anything indirectly associated with it , gets thrown into the mix. No pay -u get a delay is a reality.
The burden of proof is on you; you are the one making the claim; prove yourself correct.
You don't get notifications on your phone with either of these updates. The only way you'd know if you received them is if you checked after the fact or if you happened to coincidentally be sitting in the car when you received the update, and that still only applies for the map update.
My car still parked -has not moved, still connected to wifi and checked daily for any changes……nope . Paywall priority-I even stopped to ask 3 other Tesla owners who don’t subscribe to Fsd——none of them have the update(map/charging cable).

Ok I missed this one: for software updates. U can plug in to charge and the Tesla will check for any update. I tried this and the 2026.26.6.1 gold arrow appeard but no map or cable charger still…..so I maintain money motivation ….im in the fence but hey I got a update even thought it was just a bug fix for the summer update.
