That's not really a surprise. I think what worries a lot of long time Tesla fans is- are they gonna make drivable cars for 'us' to buy. It'll be a while before people are comfortable buying cars with no controls. Tesla making a statement about this to reassure us will go a long way.

If the steering wheel,pedals, mirrors, back window, turn signals stalks and nav voice turn by turn are all removed, we wouldn’t actually be driving, so why would they sell the cybercab to anyone.

Once again-goes right back to perpetual revenue streams. The gold cars were never designed to be sold to individuals.
