Not including the faster wireless chargers with cooling is a big miss in my opinion. Even if they didn't implement the higher charging speed, it would have been nice to see at least the cooling aspect implemented. I already have my wireless chargers disabled because they just work as a phone heater at this point, and the last time I used them, I gained literally 1% charge on a 20-minute drive on an iPhone 16 Pro Max. At that point, it's basically useless. Plugging in my phone for the same amount of time usually gets my phone significantly more charged and doesn't heat up my phone as much. I know the charging speed isn't really Tesla's fault, but the phone heating up so much is definitely something they can do something about. One time I even had my phone get so hot in its case that it gave me a warning about excessive heat and shutdown.

I have a MagSafe (2? I dunno, has USB C plug) in the car’s console, and a USB C cable to charge and turned the charging pads off. It’s rare that I NEED to charge but the cables are there if I need them. I even sit the magsafe puck on the mat
That said- I’d keep the Y L were someone to give me one. Christmas is coming up soon guys…

Yeah, i cant lie, the new Y L looks really good and I'm loving all the extra goodies it gets along with the more comfort-focused suspension.

I was trying to find an image or video showing the third brake light in action, no luck so far. There’s a video on the Tesla page that kinda shows it not lit up in one of those slow pans they do. Also- Is the cup holder cover motorized? Looks like it moves on its own in one of the vids on the Y L page.This would be a great car for Lyft or Uber drivers.

Does anyone know if there is a crash test video on this model yet? I'd love to see just how safe that backseat is, especially with the recent Model X article we got where the rear was basically sheared clean off. As much as I love the car, I'd be really worried about getting rearended with anyone back there, especially kids.
